Esperanza del Valle's Annual Dia de los Muertos
Esperanza del Valle’s Día de los Muertos 2018 performances at El Teatro Campesino Playhouse highlight the son from various regions of Mexico; each with its own unique style, flavor and interpretation. After over three decades of learning from Mexico’s master teachers, choreographers and keepers of the tradition, we are proud to present a tapestry of sones and huapangos representing the states of Chihuahua, Nayarit, Guerrero, Veracruz, Jalisco and the region of La Huasteca. We present three original Esperanza choreodramas that fuse dance and drama through traditional and cultural themes featured in El Corrido de Dos Hermanos and El Corrido Rosita Alvirez. We look forward to sharing our performance with you, our audience, con todo nuestro amor y passion!
